I’m a thinker. I’m an observer. I’m a doer.
But more than anything, I’m me.
About me
This is me
With more than 15 years of experience in business development as an employee and as a consultant my focus areas are:
- Aligning business processes & systems in a way that supports your company’s vision as a Business Developer and Solution Architect.
- Performing user research, visualize insights, and brainstorm solutions as a User Researcher.
- Making online collaborations engaging & fun as a Collaboration Designer.
I’m analytical and solution oriented. My ability to transform and communicate business needs to developers and vice versa have been very appreciated by my former employers.
My sense of humor and positive attitude contributes to the psychological safety and motivation of the team as well as my ability to point out and anchor directions.
My purpose
I’ve had a lot of different roles during my career. Business developer, business analyst, team lead, scrum master, product owner, maintenance manager, UX designer, test manager, QA coach, you name it.
Let’s skip the labels for a minute. I’m a generalist. What is common for all the roles I’ve had so far is my purpose. I really, genuinely want to help the end users, wether they are internal users in a company or customers using a product or service.
My preferences
I have a genuine interest of empathising with the people to understand their goals and challenges to know what problems to solve before starting to develop solutions.
I also really enjoy constant learning, collaboration and communication which has been very valuable when working in the agile context with distributed teams.
I prefer being on the right side, working in teams, communicating visually and solving problems in a pragmatic way but I often visit the left side if the situation requires that.
